Service Update: Temporary issues due to global AWS outage

Smaply has experienced temporary access issues due to a global outage at Amazon Web Services (AWS). One of our downstream providers has been impacted, particularly affecting the delivery of email sign-in and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.

As a result, you might have experienced short-term interruptions when logging in or performing authentication-related actions in Smaply.

What you might have experienced

You might notice:

  • Delays or timeouts when receiving your verification code
  • Missing sign-in codes

No impact on data security

We want to reassure all users that this issue did not affect data security or integrity. Your projects, customer journey maps, and all associated data remain completely safe. The problem is limited to email-based authentication services that rely on AWS infrastructure.

Our response

Our technical team was closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with AWS to minimize disruption. We’re continuously assessing performance and will update our status page as more information becomes available.
